New Client Features (04-27-2006)   1. The IM has replaced “My VideoMeeting” with a little box which is part of the IM itself.
2. When HitCast is closed, it returns the PC to the original resolution and color depth.
3. Video Quality can be increased, decreased and returned to the quality set by the person who called the meeting.
4. There is a new layout (full screen PC with overlapping videos).
5. If a user refuses to change the PC resolution and color depth, the HitCast Client will not start.
6. HitCast should now support (we are not totally sure as this is on paper but needs to be tested with the various models) remote PTZ functions using the VISCA protocol with the following Sony models:
- SONY EVI-D100/D100P
- SONY EVI-D30/31
- SONY EVI-D70/D70P
- SONY BRC-300P
- SONY BRU-300P

Hitcast Adds 256-Bit AES Encryption to Hitcast Client   The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is an encryption algorithm for securing sensitive but unclassified material by U.S. Government agencies and, as a likely consequence, may eventually become the de facto encryption standard for commercial transactions in the private sector. (Encryption for the US military and other classified communications is handled by separate, secret algorithms.)

Hitcast now adds this option to encrypt the AUDIO portion of conference meetings. This is just one of many new features that will be applied to the Hitcast client as it launches it's USA division.
